Blackburn Foodbank is excited to announce that they have been awarded the Hive Chairman’s Award at the Hive Business Awards 2021!On 14th October, nearly 300 people attended the Blackburn with Darwen Hive Business Awards at King George’s Hall, and Blackburn Foodbank was invited! The evening saw many exciting awards announced and thrilled winners called onto the stage.
Next came the Hive Chairman’s Award, and Chairman Ian Brown announced it had been awarded to blackburn Foodbank! The Foodbank had no idea that they had been considered for an award, and the event organisers did a very good job of keeping the secret.
We are very honoured to have been given this award and thank the Blackburn with Darwen Hive Business Community for recognising the work of the Foodbank. We have to acknowledge that with you, our followers, donors, sponsors and the community around us, we would not be able to provide our help and support to so many people.
